Robert E. Rickert Jr.,75, passed away June 29, 2012 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. after 29 years, and was a Circuit Court Clerk for 15 years, Navy veteran of Korea and a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Mooser Rickert.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years the former Yvonne Zipper, daughters Sheila K. Rickert and Lisa M. Jackey, son Brian R. Rickert (Sharon), four granddaughters Jordan and Brittany Rickert, and Amber and Hayley Jackey, and sister Barbara Hagan, survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass Tuesday 10 A.M. at Incarnation Catholic Church 2229 Lower Hunters Trace with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West).
Visitation will be at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway, Monday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M.
Donations maybe made to St. Jude Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
