Glenn (Pa) Goad, 85, of Clarksville, TN, died on Friday, June 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born on September 15, 1926 in Davidson County, Tennessee to the late Oscar A. Goad and Alma Woodard Goad. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jane Goad and brother, Jackie Goad.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Springhill Cemetery in Nashville, TN with Brother Roy Goodmiller officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. and Monday, July 2, 2012 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Glenn was a developer and former owner of Goad Construction. He was also a member of Hilldale Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie (Lucy) Goad of Clarksville, TN; three daughters, Melissa (Ralph) Tennant of Clarksville, TN, Linda (Ronnie) Cunningham of Murfreesboro, TN, and Cindy (Gary) Adams of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, Bobby Goad, Tommy Goad, and Burton Goad; nine grandchildren, David Cunningham, Stephen Cunningham, Adam Cunningham, Kayla Goad, Becca Goad, Lucas Tennant, Trevor Tennant, Jake Adams, and Glenndon Adams; and his devoted friends and caregivers, Emma Atkins and Mary Baines.
Pallbearers will be Glenndon Adams, David Cunningham, Adam Cunningham, Stephen Cunningham, Jake Adams, and Lucas Tennant.
