Obituary


Manchester– Joan D. (Moran) Gagne, has died June 28, 2012 after a long and valiant battle against cancer, she was 65.
Joan’s legacy began early as she was the first World War II War Bride infant born in Manchester, NH.
She was born the daughter of Harold and Solange (Bondoux) Moran on February 8, 1947.
She worked very hard throughout her life, whether she was supporting her family working at Prevue Products, Anchor Electric, assisting in counseling teens for drug and alcohol abuse, or at Elliot Hospital.
Joan enjoyed spending time with family, whether camping at Pawtuckaway State Park, or watching the Patriots, cheering on Tedy Bruschi.
She enjoyed music, especially Barry Manilow, and had seen him frequently in concert.
Joan was a true caregiver to everyone in her life, especially her mother, Solange Moran.
She is survived by her husband, Norman L. Gagne of Manchester, her four chidren who loved her dearly, Marcia Coleman (Joseph) of Avon Lake, OH., Tracy Fuller (Robert) of Haverhill, MA., Mark Soucy (Estelle), Manchester, Michelle Gagne (Tanya), Manchester, one brother Frank H. Moran (Gwen), Atlanta, GA., and seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St..
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to NH Oncology– Hematology, PA., who supported and helped care for Joan. Their address is 200 Technology Dr., Hooksett, NH 03106.
