Obituary

Williams, Dick of Hingham, formerly of Squantum, passed away June 26, 2012. He was 83.

Beloved husband of Pauline A. (Marsico) Williams of Hingham.

Loving father of Glenn R. Williams and his wife, Lisa, of Weston, and Nancy A. Drooks and her husband, Wayne, of Squantum. Grandfather of Ryan and Tyler Williams and Jonathan and Sarah Drooks.

Dick was a Chemical Engineer for many years until his retirement. In his spare time, he was an avid gardener his whole life and had his own greenhouse and frequently gave garden tours of the gardens around his home. He greatly enjoyed family vacations to Cape Cod, Florida, and Hawaii.

Dick was also a member of the First Church of Squantum for over 50 years and served there as a Deacon for many of those years. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was also a World War II veteran serving with the U.S. Army in Guam from 1945 through 1948 and had also received the WW II Victory Medal.

Funeral services and burial were private.
