Obituary

Jackie Ray Kaiser, a longtime resident of Benton City, entered into rest on June 21, 2012 at Hospice at the Chaplaincy in Kennewick at the age of 73. He was born on April 20, 1939 in
River Mines, Missouri and was raised and educated in Elvins, Missouri. After high school, he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. Following his discharge he returned to Missouri and in 1962 moved to Prosser where he met and married Janice Marie Jones on September 28, 1962. He worked in the farming industry and did carpentry work. In 1976, the family moved to Benton City. Jackie joined Carpenters Union Local 1849 and worked on highway overpass construction.

He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting with his dogs.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Janice Kaiser of Benton City; his son, Gary Kaiser and wife Lisa of Kennewick; his daughter, Rhonda Kaiser and Shane of Benton City; his daughter-in-law Dana of Primeville, Oregon; his grandchildren, Jack, Evan, Jimi, Jason, Martin, Carl, Saige, Brock and Rikki; and great-grandchildren, Faith and Mason. He is also survived by four sisters, Marylou, Judy, Melanie and Tammy and two brothers, Lenny and Gary.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Jacqueline Marie Kaiser; son, Jimmy Kaiser; and brother, Phillip.

There will be a Potluck Memorial on July 5, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at American Legion in Benton City.
