John J. ‘Johnny’ Nedzweckas, 68, of Worcester Rd., passed away Sunday June 24, 2012 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
He leaves two daughters; Lori Joy Brillinger of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and Shelley Marie D’Pulos of Katy, Texas, 4 grandchildren; Ethan Brillinger, Nikolas and Amanda D’Pulos, and Courtney Stark, also 2 sisters; Victoria Prunier of Southbridge and Anne Tyree of Charlton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Johnny was born in Charlton a son of the late Felix and Victoria Nedzweckas. He was predeceased by brothers; Felix, Peter, Alphonse, Joseph, Edward and William and sisters; Josephine Pontbriand, Dorothy Choinski, Mary Ryczek and Rose Thomas.
Johnny served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1969.
He was a member of the Construction and Laborers Union, Local 22.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Johnny’s Life will be Saturday July 7, 2012 at 10 AM in the Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd. Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that family and friends bring in and share momentos of Johnny.
