Obituary

Joseph L. Levesque, 83, of Paradis Ave., Woonsocket, died Sunday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Tyler) Levesque. They were married on May 22, 1959.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward and Aurore (Jarvis) Levesque. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Levesque served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Following his service Mr. Levesque was employed in the local textile industry at several area firms before his retirement.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by four sons, David, Ronald and Marc Levesque all of Woonsocket, Russell Levesque of Johnston, a daughter Joan Howard of St. Louis Missouri, two grandchildren, Kristen and Lanna. He was the brother of Lawrence Levesque and Jeannette Drainville both of FL., and the late William, Edward, and Richard Levesque and Blanche Giguere. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
His funeral service will be Thursday at 10:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Thursday morning from 9:00-10:00 am prior to services.
