Gibbons Jr. and his wife Denise of Westwood, NJ, Nancy Hurley of Boston, Lawrence T. Gibbons and his wife Ellen of Cohasset, Suellen White and her husband Thomas of Norfolk, John P. Gibbons and his wife Lourdes of Dedham, Therese Marshall and her husband Edward of Falmouth, Michael Gibbons and his wife Susan of Guilford, CT and Beth Mazzocca and her husband Rich of Walpole. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of the late John P. Gibbons.
Graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, class of 1946. Member of the Holy Cross Club of Cape Cod and the Our Lady of the Cape Church Men’s Club. World War II Veteran, U.S. Navy. Retired court reporter, U.S. District Court and Massachusetts Superior Court.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. DEDHAM, Thursday, June 28 at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 11 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday, June 27 from 4-8 PM. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
