Waddle, Curtis Hoover, 83, of Louisville, Ky passed away June 22, 2012 at his home. He was a devoted husband and father. Curtis served as deacon at Highland Park First Baptist Church and Arcade Baptist Church and retired from L&N Railroad after 37 years as a welder.
Curtis is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Wooldridge) Waddle; brothers, Arnold and Ovie Waddle; and sister, Edith Murphy.
Survivors include his sons, Stephen C. Waddle (Frances) and Garry D. Waddle (Debra); grandchildren, Shawn, Angie, and Brandon; three great grandchildren; brothers, Everett, Eddie, and Noble Waddle; sister, Joyce Hester; sister-in-law, Betty Wooldridge; nephew, Michael Wooldridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be noon Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 2-8 at the funeral home.
