Normand L. Lamarre, 85, of Dulude Ave. died Wednesday at The Holiday. He was the husband of Laurette J. (LeBlanc) Lamarre. Mr. and Mrs. Lamarre celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary July 3, 2008. Born in Saylesville, RI he was a son of the late Armand and Victoria (Paulhus) Lamarre. Normand worked for the City of Woonsocket, Water and Sewer Department for eleven years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Par-X Club, and the Lafayette Club.
Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Normand A. Lamarre of Burrillville, Robert R. Lamarre of Woonsocket and Leo E. Lamarre of Griswold, CT., two daughters, Lucille Theroux and Pauline Lacasse, both of Woonsocket, three sisters, Doris Ferland of Littleton, NH., Clarisse "Claire" Durkin of Burrillville, and Constance Cournoyer of Providence, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Raymond E. Lamarre and the brother of the late Edgar, Roland, Armand Jr., Ernest, and Florence Lamarre, and Vivian Lefebvre.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26, at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun Street, Woonsocket. Calling hours are omitted and burial will be private.
