Tia R. Mazza (Schiavo) died Sunday at her Stoneham home surrounded by a loving family. She was 63.
Born in and raised in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Maria (DiPiro) Schiavo. A Stoneham resident for the past 30 years, she was an administrator with A W Chesterton Co., Stoneham.
She was the beloved wife of Neil (Aneillo) Mazza. She was a loving mother of Deena Mazza - DeNisco and her husband William of Everett and a loving grandmother to Tiana and Billie. She was the dear sister of Lee Langlois, Jerry, Era, Joe Schiavo all of Malden, Anna Cassidy of Saugus and Gina Dowling of Salem. She was a devoted aunt to the late Kenneth Schiavo, a loving Godmother to Jodi and Jamie Fuller and Nicholas Theodore. She was step-mother of Cathy, Carol, the late Rudy Mazza and also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral Mass will be offered in St. Francis DeSales Church, Charlestown, Thursday at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Friends may call on the family Wednesday from 4 – 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford.
