John Chamberlain Telford, 62, of Clarksville, TN, died on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on February 28, 1950 in Memphis, TN to the late John Chamberlain Telford, Sr. and Margaret Gannaway Telford.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. David Handley officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 3-7 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
John worked at the Clarksville Foundry and Zinc Plant and was currently employed at Letica Corp. He was one of the founding members of the Bikers Who Care. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dempsey Telford of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Katherine Gannaway Telford of Clarksville, TN; and two brothers, James Monroe Telford of Salt Lake City, UT and Clair Joyner (Terrie) Telford of Fayetteville, TN.
