Griffin, Timothy age 84 of Providence, passed away on June 23, 2012 at his home.
He was the beloved husband of the late Maisie ( Gaffey) Griffin. Born in Athlone County -Roscommon, Ireland, he was the son of the late Timothy and Mary (Grenhan) Griffin.
He was known as the Irish Ambassador of Patrick’s Pub, owned by son Patrick.
He was a loving and caring person who will be missed by many friends.
He was the father of Patrick Griffin, of Providence, John Griffin, Maureen Heavin, and Ann Kelly all of Ireland. He was the brother of Margaret Curley also of Ireland, and grandfather of 13.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm, with a prayer service to begin at 8 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith St., Providence.
His funeral Mass and Burial will held in Ireland.
