Frank J. Kucharski, 84
U.S. Army veteran, Texaco credit manager
STONEHAM — Frank J. Kucharski, age 84, of Stoneham, formerly of Saugus, died June 21 after a brief illness in a local nursing home. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Frank and Florence (Popkowski) Kucharski and the devoted husband of Lorraine C. (Humphries) Kucharski with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
He graduated from St. Michael’s Grammar School, Breed Jr. High, Lynn Classical High School and Bentley School of Accounting.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II. Before his retirement, he was a credit manager for the Texaco Company, Boston Region for 42 years. He was a member of the Polish Legion American Veterans, Post 56, served as Past Commander, Past Commander of the Dept. of Massachusetts and was a National VAVS Officer. He was a member of St. Michael’s PNA Lodge 630 where he was Director and Bar Secretary for many years.
He is survived by two sons, Frank H. and his wife Patricia Kucharski of Andover, Wayne W. and his wife Kellee Kucharski of Saugus. Also seven grandchildren, Daniel and his wife Keri, Thomas and his wife Jade, Kyle, Kara, Katie, Christopher and Sean Kucharski and three great-grandchildren, Harrison Britton and Samuel Kucharski. He was the brother of Rita Sarnowski of Lynn. Also several nieces and nephews.
Service Information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Nadworny Funeral Home, 798 Western Ave., Lynn on Monday at 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield at 10 a.m. Interment in World War II lot, Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 6 p.m.
