WETTIG, Joan E., 82, of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home.
She was a native of New Albany, IN and retired professor and director of the Library at Bellarmine University for 37 years. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kathleen Walters (Aaron), Mattie Teachout (Frank), Michael Wettig (Pat), Albert Wettig (Sandy) and Phillip Wettig (Dottie); also survived by great nieces and nephews and a her best friend, Joan Batliner.
Funeral Mass 12:30pm Wednesday at St. Pius X, 3521 Goldsmith Lane, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, New Albany, IN. Visitation will be after 11:30 Wednesday at her church. Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown entrusted with her arrangements.
