Dorothy Kelly Westbrook
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, June 22, 2012, Mrs. Dorothy “Dotsy” Kelly Westbrook, 87, wife of 60 years to Mr. Richard “Dick” G. Westbrook, Jr.
Mrs. Westbrook graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy and attended Augusta Junior College. She was a devout Catholic and a proud member of Saint Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Mrs. Westbrook worked in Civil Service at Fort Gordon for several years. She was known for her incredible memory and by her family and friends as “The Queen”.
Family members in addition to her husband include daughters: Suzanne Nelson (Brad) of Norcross, GA and Jane Smith of Lexington, GA; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Westbrook was preceded in death by her son: Giles Westbrook; daughter: Julie Dahdah and son-in-law: Rob Smith.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 25, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Gerald Ragan officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family will receive friends following the service.
