Obituary

Joseph D. Miller “Danny”, age 26, passed away suddenly while stationed in the Navy in Bremerton, Washington. He is survived by his father and mother, Ric and Teresa Miller of Plymouth, MA; his younger brother 2LT Robert Kenneth Miller (Army) and his wife Nicole Kulhman-Miller of Colorado Springs, CO; his aunt and uncles Robert and Peggy Miller of Bowie, MD and their children Kristy Miller and Adam Miller; Michael and Katrina Trace of Lebanon, IL and their children Jenessa Trace and Christina Bilocki) and George F. Decker Jr of Waynesboro, PA.

Danny graduated with honors from Beavercreek High School in June 2004 and from Wright State University both in Beavercreek, OH. He was born into a Navy family and an extended military family, which lured him to choose the military and the Navy as his profession. He excelled through the Nuclear Power Program and the qualification requirements on his ship, the USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76 as an electrician.

Danny had a love for animals, playing cards and alternative music. He had a quirky sense of humor that took some getting used to, but always made you laugh. He had a good heart and a love for life. He will always hold a very special place in his family’s hearts. With the love Danny had for animals, in lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in Danny’s name be made to the Plymouth Town Animal Shelter, 2199 State Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360 (508-888-1186).
