Dayton M. Page, 66, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Irwin County Hospital, Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at the Ocilla Baptist Church, with Rev. Gerald Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Brushy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Monday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Page was born June 2, 1937, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Dayton Merritt and Minnie Lou Alford Yeary. She retired as Assistant Vice-President of First State Bank in Ocilla. After retiring she went to work part-time as a teller at Colony Bank of Fitzgerald and as a sales-lady at Dianne’s Fashions in Ocilla. Mrs. Page was a member of Ocilla Baptist Church.
Mrs. Page is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Robin P. and Glenn Tucker, Fitzgerald; two grandchildren: Taylor and Tate Tucker, both of Fitzgerald; one sister: Drama Norton, Ocilla; one brother: Joe Alford, Milledgeville; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Roger Wayne Page.
