THACKER, BRISTOL, 71, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Suburban Hospital.
Bristol was a native of Maytown, KY. He was a retired teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Hagans Thacker.
Survivors include his son, Chris Thacker (Shannon); sister, Shelby Angney; and his brother, Rudy Thacker.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY, with burial in Hagans Family Cemetery, Langley, KY. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., and 1 - 8 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin.
