LORENA ASHLEY, 85, passed away June 17, 2012
She was an Avon representative for over 40 years, a former “Rosie Riveter” of aircraft during WW II at the Curtiss-Wright Corp., and a member of Shively Baptist Church where she was active in the Hannah Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Ashley, two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include her children, Charles Ashley (Denise) and Nancy Ashley (Terry McGann); grandsons, Chris Ashley (Tori) and Justin Ashley (Barbara); one great granddaughter, Lilly Ashley; one step great grandson, Brenden Pusso; and one sister, Kathleen Swift.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 3 – 9 p.m. Friday.
