JAMES W. RAY, 86, passed away on June 19, 2012.
He was a retired employee of Brown Williamson, a member of New Hope General Baptist Church, and a Marine veteran of WW II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delphie Ray.
Survivors include his children, William “Kenny” Ray, Marsha Perkins (Thomas), Wayne Thomas Ray (Cassie), Doris Mercier, Jo Ann Cash (Garland), and Jimmy Cockerel; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and sisters, Jewel and Ruby.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 1 – 8 p.m. Friday.
