Obituary

The Reverend Doctor Lena Foggie was the first daughter of four and the first child of eight born to Bishop Cornelius Range, Sr., and Mrs. Lovie Kelly Range. At the age of thirteen, she came forth to ask the permission of her parents to be baptized into the church so that she could commit her life to the joy of giving service along with them. The baptismal rite of passage occurred on July 4, 1937
The Reverend Doctor Lena Range Foggie was a graduate of Boston University. She began her formal study of the philosophies of metaphysics and metapsychology at thirty years of age. Since that time, she has distinguished herself academically by earning the Doctor of Theology and Doctor of Ministry degrees and receiving the honorary degree of Doctor of Humanities from the University of Metaphysics.
In May of 1984, the Reverend Doctor Lena Range Foggie was ordained into the International Metaphysical Ministry. Having been tested through examination and having given satisfactory evidence of good moral character and reputation, she was deemed worthy and qualified to perform service, duties and rights as a member of the World-Wide International Metaphysical Science Ministry.
In connection therewith, the Reverend Doctor Lena Range Foggie is a supporting and contributing Member of the Alumni Association of the University of Metaphysics, a Lifetime Member of the International Teachers-Counselors Association, and a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor.
The Reverend Doctor Lena Range Foggie began her full-time pastoral ministry in June of 1984 as the Founder, Senior Minister and Pastor of the Christ Temple of Godly Wisdom. Having  taken a solemn and sacred vow to accept the spiritual responsibility for giving service to God and to humanity, she attended to her pastoral charge faithfully.
On Tuesday June 19 2012, our loved one, Reverend Doctor Lena Range Foggie, passed away at her home in Framingham, MA.
She was married to Robert T. Foggie for over 35 years before his passing in 1994.She is survived by her daughter June Gabrielle Nichols and son-in-law Mark Nichols of  Framingham, MA; her two sisters June O. Elam-Mooers of  Milton, MA and Dorothy D. Bethel of Somerville, MA; her two brothers S. Mason Range of Roxbury, MA and Bishop Cornelius Range of Middleton, Delaware along  with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A  Service Celebrating her Life and Spirit will be held  on Sunday June 24, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street,at Natick Common.
