Wilfred "Bill" Girard 71, of Spring Water Dr. died Saturday June 16th. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Charles and Irene (Valois) Girard. Bill was known for his gentle, strong will, and his love for all things Charlie Brown. Bill enjoyed reading books, spending time at the library, and the company of his many close friends.
He is survived by a sister, Gloria DeCubellis and her husband Ken of Woonsocket, RI. Bill will be dearly missed by his five housemates with whom he lived for nineteen years, and the many people that helped support him and were so fond of him.
An hour of visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with a service beginning at 11:00 AM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be private.
