Johnny Johnson, age 64, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012, at home following an extended illness. Mr. Johnson was born on May 16, 1948, in Douglas, GA to the late Buster Johnson and Verlmell Cato Johnson.
Survivors include: his wife, Karen Johnson, of Nicholls, GA; three daughters, Teresa (Terry) Andrews, of Alma, GA, Candace (Bubba) Medders, of Nicholls, GA, and Jennifer (Billy) Hailey, of Nicholls, GA; two sons, Roy (Tammy) Johnson, of Baxley, GA and Johnny (Lannie Carter) Johnson, Jr., of Nicholls, GA; one sister, Edna McGee, of Glenwood, GA; four brothers, Edward Johnson, Riley Johnson, both of Douglas, GA, Robert Johnson, of Nicholls, GA and Huey Johnson, of Glenville, GA; sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one son Dewey Johnson, one daughter Melissa Johnson, and one brother Albert Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Harvest Renewal Worship Center with Rev. Pet Hayes, Rev. R.B. Gaskins, Rev. Hank Stevenson, and Rev. Nathan Greer officiating. Interment followed at the Meeks Cemetery.
