Lucy (Nazarian) “Lu” Farhadian age 86 of Salem, NH, died Monday at her home.
She was born in East Boston, MA, grew up and was educated in Stoneham, MA.
She was a resident of Salem for the past 57 years.
Lu was a volunteer Christian Counselor at the Walpole State Prison and the NH State Prison. She was a member of West Congregational Church in Haverhill, MA. where she was a mentor for many in her Bible Study. She also was a secretary for the Reach Out Program in Derry, NH. Lu loved cooking and sewing.
She was predeceased by her husband John Farhadian and a brother Robert Nazarian.
She is survived by her Daughter: Christine Farhadian of Andover, MA
Sons: John Farhadian of Nottingham, NH
Thomas & his wife Carolyn Farhadian of Hampstead, NH
Brother: Francis “Bob” Nazarian of Wellfleet, MA
3 Grandchildren: Coren Apicella, Shawn & Jonathan Farhadian
Several Nieces, Nephews, & Many Friends and Family.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 21st at 10 AM at West Congregational Church, Haverhill, MA. There are no calling hours.
