Mrs. Rochelle J. (Levesque) Rocha, of Taunton, died Sunday, June 17 in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Rocha, Jr. She was born 75 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Honore and Alice (Baril) Levesque. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, Rochelle had been employed as a jewelry painter for Swank, Inc. of Attleboro for 46 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 3 grandchildren who lived with her. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 2 sisters: Theresa Moquin of Berkley, and Lorraine Tondreault of Florida; 1 brother: Richard Levesque of Cape Cod, and several nieces and nephews, including Bradley Whalon and his wife, Erin, and their 3 children, Bradley, Jr., Bryan and Breanne. She was also the sister of the late Helen Bagge, Rita Hickey, Marie “Josie” Henriques, Roland, Robert “Chink,” Adrian “Pete,” Roger and Raymond Levesque.
A Graveside Service will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton, on Friday, June 29 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangments are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
