Barbara Rafael (Camara) Arruda, age 94 of Fall River passed away June 17, 2012. Born in Santa Barbara alem Capelas, São Miguel, Açores she was the widow of João Barbosa Arruda and daughter of the late Rafael De Camara and Antonia Inacio (Medeiros) Camara. She was a retired braider having worked at Quequechan Products and she was a member of Santo Christo Church.
Barbara was the mother of Barbara Da Ponte (husband Manuel) of Westport, Maria Conceicão Pimentel (husband Antonio) of Quebec, João Luis Arruda (wife Maria) of Quebec, Antonio Arruda (wife Zelia) of Somerset, José Arruda (wife Donna) of Fall River and Gil Arruda (wife Lucy) of Fall River, sister of the late Mariano, Manuel, Jacinto, Maria, Urselina and Diamantina; grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 12 and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
