Paulette M. Ramirez (nee) Malizia, age 58, of New York City and most recently of Haworth, New Jersey, died suddenly on June 15, 2012. She was the loving wife of Ronald N. Ramirez and the devoted mother of Alanna Ramirez and Olivia G. Ramirez. Daughter of the late John Malizia and the late Clementine Malizia Ramirez, and stepdaughter of Joseph Ramirez. Dear sister of Debbie Lawson, Rose Ann Steinberg, and John Malizia. Paulette loved nature and being outdoors and always felt at home at the beach. An avid New York sports fan, she eventually exceeded her husband’s enthusiasm for the Yankees and the Giants. Visitation will be held at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ, on Tuesday, June 19 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will take place at 10 am on Wednesday, June 20 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 300 Elm Street, Oradell, NJ. Burial to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah, NJ.
