O'Donnell, Mary G. (Goldrick) of Roslindale, Friday, June 15th after valiantly battling a lengthy illness. Mrs. O'Donnell was the remarkable matriarch of a large, extended family who was born and raised on Mission Hill and lived for many years in Roslindale. She embraced life with a gentle calmness, selflessly caring for her own seven children and numerous neighborhood children. She was a deeply faithful, genuinely kind, caring woman who delighted in meeting people, painting, woodworking, stain-glass making, and many other pursuits. Mostly though, she enjoyed the laughter and love of her family – and welcoming friends to her home. She had an incredible knack of making everyone feel special, and, of course, without fail, ensuring that all who visited were properly fed. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger J. O'Donnell. Cherished daughter of the late Annie (McKenney) and Louis Goldrick. Mother of Maurice O'Donnell and his wife Tracy of Worcester, Roger J. O'Donnell Jr. and his wife Tracy of Medfield, Lewis O'Donnell of Roslindale, John J. O'Donnell and his wife Karyn of Millis, Joann O. Flynn and her late husband Mark of Roslindale, Mary T. Flaherty and her husband John of Sharon, and Elizabeth R. and her husband Clark Lowery of Roslindale. Loving sister of Dorothy LeGrand of Cranston, RI, Ruth M. Henning of Roxbury, and the late Louis Goldrick, Anna Webb, and James Goldrick. Sister-in-law of the late John T. O'Donnell. Cherished grandmother of Kyle, Tristan, Ian, Michaela, Emily, Mary, Rebecca, John, Zachary, and Jacob O'Donnell, Sean, Roger and Ann Flynn, Michael, John and Liam Flaherty and John T., Timothy and Michael Lowery. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
