Obituary




Manchester- Juliette A. Tessier, 90, died June 15, 2012 at the Ridgewood Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester on October 17, 1921 the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Fortin) Chandonnet and had been a lifelong resident of this city.

Prior to her retirement she had been a self employed hairdresser. She was a member of the St. Anne Sodality of Sacred Heart Parish and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered at Elliot Hospital and Hillsborough County Nursing Home knitting caps for infants and afghans for the elderly.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert F. Tessier, September 23, 1995 and her son Captain Lucien Tessier USMC who died in Vietnam on February 19, 1968.

Members of her family include her daughter Priscilla DeSena and son-in-law Ralph DeSena of Naples, FL. and Bethany Beach, DE; 3 grandchildren Ralph A. DeSena (Jennifer), Christopher DeSena (Aurora), Michelle DeSena Rosenbauer (Peter); six great-grandchildren; Robert DeSena, Michael DeSena, Nicholas DeSena, Lily DeSena, Margaret Rosenbauer and Grace Rosenbauer; sister Yvonne Cote of Bedford and several nieces and nephews.


SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on June 23, 2012 at 11 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St., Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104.
