WHITEHOUSE, James William "Bill", 83, passed away Tuesday June 12, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Detroit, MI. to Joseph Hobart & Lucebra Elizabeth (Hays) Whitehouse.
"Bill" was a retired Dispatcher for the K&I, Norfolk & Southern, and CSX Railroads. He was a member of the Ormsby Heights Baptist Church and was a U.S.Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the Plumb Masonic Lodge # 862 F&AM, Scottish Rite and was a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Granddaughter: Nicole Straw.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years Rosemary (Elder) Whitehouse; his children: Alice E. Bryant (Chris), William "Joe" Whitehouse (Debbie) and Anna M. Carson (Rob); 9 Grandchildren: Travis, Aaron & Jessica Goff, Chris Whitehouse, Melissa Hobbs, Heather & Ashley Morris, Brennan & Brady Carson; 14 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Thursday 12 - 8 PM Expressions to Hosparus of Louisville.
