June E. Mortimer, 63, of Goffstown, NH died Friday evening April 30, 2004 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. June was born in St. Louis, MO on June 19, 1940 a daughter of the late, Clement and Vera (Lambing) Lovely. She had resided in Goffstown for the past three years, formerly living in Londonderry for 21 years. June had attended Southeast Missouri State Teachers College. She was employed for TCC Marketing in Nashua, NH and had previously worked for the Red Cross as an appointment coordinator. June was one of the founding members of St. Mark’s Church, Londonderry, NH and a current communicant of St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown where she sang with the choir. She was an avid bicyclist, enjoyed walking and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John W. Mortimer, Jr, of Goffstown, three daughters, Catherine Przekaza of Goffstown, Jill Salutric of Birdsboro, PA, Megan Wheeler of Cary, NC, her son, John W. Mortimer, III of Goffstown, four grandchildren, her stepmother, Carmen Lovely of Raleigh, NC, her sister, Janet M. Lovely of Drexel Hill, PA, her brother, William C. Lovely of Audubon, PA, three nieces, one nephew, several grandnieces and grandnephews. June was predeceased by her sister, Barbara O’Keefe.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 4th at 10:00am in St. Lawrence Church, 51 Main St., Goffstown with cremation to follow. Friends may call on Monday from 6 - 9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
