WORCESTER-Mary E. Nolan, 87 of 55 Botany Bay Road, died Friday, April 30th in St. Vincent Hospital. She is survived by many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. 3 brothers, Thomas M., Joseph E. and James R. Nolan and 2 sisters, Helen A. and Frances G. Nolan predeceased her.
She was born in Dunmore, PA the daughter of Michael T. and Elizabeth J. (Smith) Nolan and was a graduate of Commerce High School. Miss Nolan had at one time worked at the Springfield Armory, and retired from The Department of the Navy where she had been a manager. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
The funeral is Wednesday, May 5th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 4th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
