ARBO, Herbert- Of Malden, June 13th. Devoted husband of the late Anna (Buckley). Beloved father of Robert Arbo of Saugus, Richard Arbo of FL, John Arbo and his wife Meg of Marblehead, Joanne Cody and her husband Ken and Edward Arbo all of Malden. Brother of the late Mary Lou Cataldo and William Arbo. Cherished grandfather of Kellie and her husband Scott, Rob, Anna and Maggie and great grandfather of Kelsie, Allyssa, Chloe, Cody and Kenzie. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Monday, June 18th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Lowell and a resident of Malden for over 60 years, Herbert passed away peacefully at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester after a brief illness. A foreman machinist at MIT on Department of Defense projects for over 30 years, he was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII and member of the Malden Anglers, St. Joseph's Men's Club, Saugus VFW Post 2346 various Organ societies throughout Massachusetts and the MIT Lincoln Lab Quater Century Club.
