Betty J. Ferry, 79, of Clarksville, TN, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center. Betty was born on November 19, 1932 in Barberton, Ohio, Summitt County. She was the daughter of John and Katie Trpka. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Paul Trpka and Steve Trpka, and one sister, Sue Mileff.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Larry Peters officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
She was employed by Yoder Brothers, Barberton, Ohio. She was also a secretary of Schmittou Brothers, Clarksville, TN in her younger years.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick W. Ferry, Sr.; four children, Frederick W. Ferry, Jr. (Lisa), Thomas Paul Ferry, Timothy John Ferry (Annette), and Cynthia Jane Mooring Ferry (Bobby); five grandchildren, Leighann, Victoria Beth (Tyler), Kristen (Clint), Courtney, and TJ; four great grandchildren, Katie, Bianca, Kamryn, and Jack; three sisters, Kathryn Pinter, Anne Hunsicker, and Mary Horvath all of Barberton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews all from Barberton, Ohio; and her nephew she helped raise, Darrell Trpka.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
