In Taunton, of Raynham, June 9, 2012 Ronald “Ronnie” Ellis son of Calvin and Beverly (Bryer) Ellis died after a long illness at Morton Hospital in Taunton at the age of 56. Ronnie was born in Middleboro and a graduate of Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School class of 1973. He was retired from the Town of Raynham for the cemetery department for over 36 years. Ronnie was a senior vice of the sons of the American Legion Post 405 in Raynham and was an on call firefighter for the town of Raynham. Ronnie’s favorite place to visit was the family camp in Maine. He was the brother of Daniel “Bim” Ellis (Cheryl) of Raynham, Peter Ellis (Elizabeth) of Taunton, Paul Ellis (Peg) of Maine, Timothy Ellis (Patricia) of Raynham and Donna Pearson (Ted) of Raynham. Nephew of many aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at the American Legion on Mill Street in Raynham on Sunday, June 17th at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Ronnie’s memory may be made to American Legion Post 405, 291 Mall Street, Raynham, Ma, 02767.
