RAYNHAM – Antone L. Loretto, Jr., husband of Winifred F. (Prado) Loretto, to whom he was married for sixty-two years, died at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, surrounded by his family on June 10, 2012.
He was 84.
A lifelong Raynham resident, he was the son of the late Antone L. and Luzia (Silva) Loretto, Sr.
Mr. Loretto was raised and educated in Raynham, and later worked for Olson’s Greenhouses in Raynham, where he was employed as a maintenance man for many years.
An avid vegetable and flower gardener, Tony took great pride in maintaining his home and garden, and enjoyed sharing the harvest with family and friends.
In addition to his wife of Raynham, he leaves his beloved nephew, Joseph M. Lazarz, Jr., his wife Renee, and their son Alex, all of Taunton; and two sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Lazarz and her husband Joseph of Taunton, and Arlene Garcia and her husband Robert of Lakeville.
He was also the brother of the late Mary Heal and Sadie Azevedo Camara.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Thursday, June 14th at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family on Thursday, between the hours of 9 and 10 a.m., prior to the Services.
