Jeannine I. (Collins) Tracy, 73, of Manchester, died June 9, 2012 at Catholic Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born in Manchester on November 22, 1938 to Ernest and Blanche (Demers) Collins. She graduated from Central High School and lived in Manchester for most of her life. She also lived in many other locations that her husband had been stationed while serving in the military.
Jeannine worked at Gordon Insurance Company and Chase & Durand Insurance Company, both in Manchester, for many years.
She was a socially active person who enjoyed dancing and time spent at Lake Winnisquam. She also enjoyed weaving and had donated many of her creations to others.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia A. McNamara in March of this year.
The family includes her husband of 54 years, Donald E. Tracy of Manchester; two children, Richard C. Tracy and his wife, Maggie, formerly of Manchester and now of Meredith, and Pamela Florence and her husband, Henry, of Manchester; five grandchildren, Eric and Bryan Tracy, Tracy and Jacob Florence, and Michael Depelteau; a great grandson, Seamus Brown; two sisters, Pauline Collins of Manchester and Claire Prince of Auburn; one cousin and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Private burial is at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
