Kenneth (Kenny) Lynn Harrison, 56, of Clarksville, TN, died on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born on October 13, 1955 in Montgomery County, TN to Charlie Eugene (Gene) Harrison and Barbara Harrison. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Evans Harrison.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 1 PM at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ted Denny and Bro. Don Helton officiating. Burial will be in Wilee's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 1-7 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 10 AM until the hour of service at the church.
Kenny was a dedicated public servant, where he served three years with the Montgomery County EMS, eleven years with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, and twenty-three years with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, where he recently retired. He was also a member of Queen City Lodge 761 and Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his father, Charlie Eugene (Gene) Harrison of Clarksville, TN; wife, Terri Harrison of Clarksville, TN; son, Christopher (Roshae) Harrison of Clarksville, TN; step-son, Rod Garcia of Clarksville, TN; step-daughter, Ann-Marie (Michael) Marcero of Clarksville, TN; brother, Randy (Shela) Harrison; sister, Debbie (William Robert) Justice of San Antonio, TX; and four grandchildren, Haley Harrison, Delaney Pitts, Aaliyah Pitts, and Annalena Marcero.
Pallbearers will be Ben Carroll, Todd Pitts, Larry Gladden, John Morrow, Bob Davis, and Bob Ott. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, and Montgomery County EMS.
