Rita Wallace, 98, of Lawrence passed away peacefully at her home.
Born in Lawrence, Ma, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sarah (Watson) Wallace. She was raised and educated in Lawrence.
For years Rita was employed at Western Electric/Lucent Technologies in North Andover and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She was a parishioner at St. Patrick's Parish in Lawrence.
Rita was predeceased by two sisters Alice Wallace and Katherine Wallace and a brother William Wallace.
Survivors include a niece Barbara (Wallace) Yelland, four grand nieces, eight great grand nieces and nephews, and 10 great, great, grand nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. in St. Patrick's Church, 118 So. Broadway in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence.
