Obituary


James C. "Jim" Fullam, 72, of Manchester, died June 8, 2012 at his home.

He was born in Portsmouth, NH on February 8, 1940, the son of James C. Fullam and Elizabeth (Burnham) Fullam. Mr. Fullam graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in Manchester in 1958 and received a B.S. degree in Science from St. Anselm College in 1962. He held a Masters degree in education from Rivier College. He played and coached at several levels of youth sports over the years.

Mr. Fullam was employed by the Goffstown School District for 38 years, initially as a biology teacher at Goffstown High School and later as assistant principal. He was highly respected by the youth, faculty and community for his dedicated service to several generations of students. Mr. Fullam was a member of St. Pius parish. He retired in 1999, spending his retirement years enjoying his interest of reading, sports, and history, but was most fulfilled spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

Mr. Fullam will be greatly missed by his family, including his wife Irene (Berry) Fullam of 47 years; his three children; Charles and his wife Christine of Manchester, Kathryn (Tracy) Fullam and Dr. Gregory Tracy of Goffstown, James and his wife Bernadette of Manchester; a sister, Francine Fullam of Manchester; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He will be fondly remembered for his wisdom, sense of humor and love of family.



A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, June 11, 2012 at St. Pius X church. Burial followed in St Joseph Cemetery 448 Donald St Bedford, NH.
