Obituary

CHARLTON - Tamara (Skarbow) Lundquist, 62, of Charlton died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester surrounded by her family.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, Walter B. Lundquist; 6 children, Joseph W. Lundquist of Stafford, CT, Paul M. Lundquist and his wife Kim of Dudley, Michael S. Lundquist and his wife Kristin of Oxford, Shawn D. Lundquist of Charlton, Nicole M. Petrunia and her companion James Chouinard of Charlton, and David J. Lundquist and his fiancée Tanya Janovsky of Webster; and 16 grandchildren, Eric, Christopher, William, Alexandra, Patrick, Joshua, Samantha, Cody, Taylor, Samantha, Jacob, Bryce, Alicia, Devin, Kyle and Jarrod. She also leaves her special friends, Earl & Nancy Lebel. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nina and by her brother Michael Skarbow.
She was born in Liege, Belgium and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Michael and Janina (Wolskia) Skarbow. She lived in Charlton since 1985. She attended South High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Lundquist was a skilled seamstress who worked at North Oxford Carpet Mills and then at Ethan Allen Company in Dudley before retiring in 2001.
Her many interests included gardening, sewing, camping, cooking, raising farm animals and pets, and music, especially the songs of Mario Lanza and Jim Neighbors. She opened her home to family, friends and those who needed a place to stay.
A graveside service will be held privately in Westridge Cemetery, Charlton. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, June 11, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster. Donations in her name may be made to the VNA Hospice and Care Network, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01605.
