Louis M. Enos, 71, of Acushnet died Thursday April 29, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Michael and Mary (Gomes) Ignacio, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life before moving to Acushnet 7 years ago.
He loved dancing at the Poirier Post and loved listening to Lawrence Welk.
Survivors include a brother, Antone Enos of New Bedford; two sisters, Christina Anderson and her husband Arthur, and Phyllis Stewart, all of New Bedford; his housemates, Paul Connolly, David Gifford, and Christofer Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Armond "Edmond" Enos.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday May 3, 2004 at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday May 2, 2004 from 4-6 PM.
