Frederic H. Noyles, 79, of Windham died peacefully on June 01, 2012, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. Born on January 13, 1933 in Bangor, Maine, a son of George Paine Noiles and Regina Maude Warren. Fred was a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force with service in the Korean Conflict. He was former Selectman in Windham, N.H. and the owner/operator of Fred’s Auto Service in West Windham, N.H. for 36 years. Fred loved his family, country, and community and was willing to step up when the need arose. His wonderful sense of humor helped carry us all through good times and bad.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Suzie Landry Noyles; two sons, Christopher C. Noyles and wife JoAnne of Eagle River, Alaska; and Jeffrey L. Noyles of Windham, N.H.; and two grandchildren, Nicole and Benjamin Noyles of Eagle River, Alaska; brothers Paul Noiles of Prospect, Maine, Robert Noiles and wife Jean of Neosho, Missouri, and James Noiles of Wilton, N.H.; and dear sister-in-law Ann Noiles BOBH of Birch Harbor, Maine; brother in law, Roy Edwards of California; and Aunts, Cousins, Nephews, and Nieces. He was pre-deceased by his parents; sisters Clarice M Edwards and Joyce M. Evans; brothers George P. Noiles Jr., Glenn Noiles, and Duane Noiles; and sister-in-law Alice Noiles.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Manchester, N.H. for their loving and compassionate care they so genuinely and generously gave to Fred.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a graveside service with military honors was held Wednesday June 6th at 10:30 am at the Cemetery on the Hill, Range Rd. in Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Shepherd’s Food Pantry c/o Windham Presbyterian Church, Church Road, Windham, N.H. 03087. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
