Obituary

Fisher, Charlotte, 79 of Malden and formerly of Sharon passed away on June 1, 2012. Charlotte was born in Chelsea and was a graduate of the Chelsea High School, Class of 1950. She was a resident of Malden for 32 years. Most recently, she was a retired employee of the State of Massachusetts and Boston University. She also held various customer service positions, most notably with Marriott. Charlotte was a volunteer at the Whidden Memorial Hospital and an active member of the Chelsea High School Class of 1950 Reunion Committee. She was an avid bowler and belonged to a bowling group in Malden.

Charlotte was the devoted mother of Judi Harrington, Alan Fisher, Iris Smith and Lance Paul Fisher. She was the loving daughter of the late Joseph Millman and the late Rose Cook. Charlotte was the dear sister of the late Ruth Millman. She was the loving grandmother of Erin, Chris, Paul, Charlie and Bryan. Charlotte is also survived by her great granddaughter, Isabella.

Services will be held at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Cary Sq., Chelsea on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the A.A.A. Sfard Cemetery in Lynn. Donations in Charlotte’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association “Go Red for Women” Initiative, 4600 Campus Dr. Irvine, CA 92617, should one choose to make a donation, please enclose a note that donations are being made in Charlotte Fisher’s behalf. The family would like to invite everyone following the interment for a continued celebration of Charlotte’s life at one of her favorite restaurants: “The Eight/10” and is located at 810 Norwood Street, Everett, MA.
