Methuen, Ma. – Frederick W. Nader, Jr. 78 died Friday June 1, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill with his family by his side.
Born in Lawrence, August 10, 1933 Mr. Nader was the son of Frederick, Sr. and Esma (Eleckel) Nader. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Exeter Academy, and the University of Notre Dame.
A Self-employed Methuen businessman, Fred owned and operated the Modern Amusement Company for many years in Methuen.
He was a longtime member of Methuen Council # 4027 Knights of Columbus. Many years ago he enjoyed playing golf at Indian Ridge Country Club of Andover he enjoyed reading, football, and baseball and more importantly traveling with his wife and best friend Ann.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Ann “Colette” (Morgan) Nader, and children; Frederick W. Nader III, his daughter Ellen Nader Clark, 6 grandchildren ; Taylor, Dylan, and Conor Clark, and Freddy, John, and Tommy Nader, 1 great-granddaughter Lily Clark, 2 brothers Robert and Paul Nader as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church Methuen with burial to follow in Saint Anthony’s Cemetery.
Friends will be warmly received on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
