ALLEN, Charlotte A. “Chotsie” (McElwain) of Concord died on Sunday. May 27, 2012. Devoted mother of Thomas H. Bennett, III of North Fort Myers, FL; Frederic C. Starr of Richfield, MN and Richard M. Starr of Wayland and the late Christopher H. Starr. Sister of David McElwain of Burlington and Robert McElwain of Portsmouth, NH. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. Wife of the late Thomas H. Bennett, Jr., William H. Starr and Peter Allen. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 12:00 noon. To honor Chotsie’s passionate love of the garden, the service will be hosted at the Garden in the Woods, 180 Hemenway Street, Framingham.
