Myrtle Frances Jones, 92, of Tifton died Friday, June 1, 2012, at Loving Arms Assisted Living. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Roger Mayes will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 3, 2012, from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Miss Jones was born on October 4, 1919 and was the daughter of Clyde Jones and Bessie Hester Jones, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Ray Carlton Jones, Thomas Jones, Milton Jones, Lamar Jones and Lennon Jones. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a very loving person, who loved everybody and always put everyone first. Her friends and family were her whole life. She had lived the majority of her life in Tift County.
Miss Jones is survived by several nieces and nephews.
