Hilda (Cordeiro) Rosa, age 88 of Fall River passed away in Swansea May 29, 2012. She was the widow of Gilbert Rosa and daughter of the late Manuel and Antonia (Carreiro) Cordeiro. She was a retired weaver having worked at the Sagamore Mill and she was a member of Santo Christo Parish.
Hilda is survived by her daughter Marjorie Lasson (husband Bruce) of Swansea, grandchildren Craig Lasson (wife Danielle) and Kelly Papp, great grandchildren Emma and Zachary Lasson and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward and Ronald Cordeiro.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on SATURDAY at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Santo Christo Church at 9:45 A.M. Interment in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI. Calling hours on FRIDAY 4-8 P.M.
