New Bedford- Antonio Medeiros age 81 years, Died April 26, 2004 at Brandon Woods Nursing Home, He is survived by his wife Maria J. Medeiros, 1 Son John M. Medeiros & his wife Lucia of New Bedford, 1 Daughter Maria J. Martins of New Bedford, Grandaughter Elizabeth Cahill of Norton Ma., Michelle Medeiros of New Bedford, Jessica Martins of New Bedford, Monica Medeiros of New Bedford, Grandson David Lee Martins of New Bedford. He is also survived by 4 Sisters, 2 Brothers , and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Medeiros was born in Agua d’Alto ,St. Michael, Azores .. He was the son of the late Maria deEstrella (daPonte) & Serafim Medeiros. He was a Landscaper for Cuming Corp. & was also a Landscaper for Carol & Richie D’Auteuil , His Landscaping skills were renowned thru this area.
His funeral will be Wednesday April 28, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 230 Bonney St., New Bedford, MA. Visiting hour will be Tuesday Evening from 5-9 P.M.
